Communications Coalition of Kansas

Unifying the voice of rural telecommunications

Project Overview

The Kansas Rural Independent Telecommunications Coalition and the State Independent Telephone Association of Kansas shared similar goals and membership, prompting the decision to merge into one organization that advocates for rural telecommunications providers at the state and federal levels.

We needed to unify these once separate organizations through a new brand, starting with changing the name. We chose “Communications Coalition of Kansas” because it uses aspects of both organizations’ previous names and allows everyone to feel represented. The visual identity was inspired by the Kansas landscape, and the rolling hills and sunflower elements symbolize waves of communication and two groups joining together.

Overall, we provided the Communications Coalition of Kansas with an optimistic and inclusive brand that embodies the collective spirit of the newly formed organization.
