With four locations across Salina, Kansas, Citywide Storage already had a strong reputation, but they needed a modern logo and seamless online reservation experience in order to keep units full. Along with creating a new logo and visual identity system, our team suggested a name change from Citywide Self-Storage to Citywide Storage because the concept of storage units was no longer a foreign concept to consumers. For the website, we built a custom back-end platform for Citywide to manage their inventory which gave users on the front-end the ability to reserve any unit at any location. This increased Citywide’s closure rate to 75% within the first seven months after launch. Additionally, upsell features, like rental insurance or trailer rentals, were advertised throughout the reservation process and increased overall sales.
